Founded in 1953 • Serving Children, Families & Our Community for More Than 73 Years
For more than seven decades, the Lutz Children’s Museum has provided children with opportunities to learn through exploration, creativity, nature, live animals, and hands-on experiences.
Our museum began because the Manchester community came together around the vision of educator Hazel P. Lutz. Today, we are asking businesses, organizations, and individuals to join us in carrying that vision forward.
Your sponsorship helps keep our doors open, our animals cared for, our programs accessible, and our mission alive for the next generation.
Your contribution helps support the everyday needs that make our museum experiences possible.

We also welcome:
When you support the Lutz Children’s Museum, you are helping us continue a tradition that began in Manchester in 1953.
You are helping a child experience an animal up close for the first time.
You are helping a student discover something they did not know about the natural world.
You are helping families learn and explore together.
And you are helping ensure that a treasured community institution remains here for the children who will come after us.
In 1953, Manchester came together to help Hazel P. Lutz build something extraordinary for its children.
Today, we invite you to help us carry it forward.
